Matthew Statler

Matthew Statler is a pastor and biblical counselor at Sierra Vista Baptist Church, glorifying God through shepherding His people, applying the Word to trauma and suffering, and training others to counsel biblically.

He wrote Catechism of Suffering first for himself: "As a pastor and a fellow sufferer, I need to often rehearse these truths to myself. They remind me that the path of suffering is not wasted, random, or meaningless."
